National Unity Day/Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Quiz

On the occasion of celebrating the “National Unity day” on 31st October, Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education has decided to conduct online quiz competitions for youth and children through MyGov platform.
The Indian subcontinent was known for its knowledge, traditions and practices in various fields. They have survived till date reflecting the phenomenon of continuity and change. Our rich cultural heritage has been depicted in variety of our art forms, architecture, literature, music, dance and drama. These rich repositories in tangible and intangible form have been handed down to us both in oral as well as in the form of material remains. They promote a sense of identity, pride as they highlight the knowledge people had in understanding natural as well as the social phenomenon. The ancient system of knowledge mainly consisted of understanding the mysteries of the universe, human interactions with environment, philosophy of life and the significance of conserving the habitat for peace, harmony and sustenance. The glimpses of our in-depth knowledge have been highlighted in the domain of polity, medicine, yoga, astronomy, astrology, life-sciences, arts and crafts, architecture, metallurgy, mining, gemology, shipbuilding, trade and commerce and so on.
The Quiz competition is designed to promote Indian knowledge, traditions and practices for strengthening awareness about our rich heritage and also develop in children a pride for the contributions made in diverse fields.
Gratification
- Participation Certificates will be issued to all the participants.
- “Certificate of Merit” shall be issued to the children scoring more that 75% correct answers by NCERT.
- “Certificate of Merit” shall only be given to top scoring youth and children (ages 25 and below

JIGYASA

Council of Industrial and Research (CSIR) under its Scientific Social Responsibility had launched "JIGYASA platform-A Student-Scientist Connect Program" for school teachers and students. Among various models of engagement in this program, a webinar series (primarily for students), namely, "Let's Talk Science: What, Why, and How?", has been started in the current lock-down situation for inculcating 'Scientific thinking and Temperament'.
In this series, on the occasion of technology day, DG, CSIR, Prof. Shekhar C. Mande, will talk upon "Can Technology Combat COVID-19?" on 'JIGYASA CSIR' Youtube channel (easily reachable by Google search engine) or you can use the following link:

This webinar series is open to all and requires no password for access. This lecture (mentioned above) will be in English and shall be live on 11th May 2020 at 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm [Indian Standard time (IST)] on the above-cited youtube channel. Further, the lecture will also be available on the channel after the webinar. It will be highly appreciable if you share the information with your colleagues, public, schools, and teachers.

प्रिय अभिभावक ।
आप सब को बड़े हर्ष के साथ सूचित किया जा रहा है कि *केंद्रीय विद्यालय अल्मोड़ा* पूर्व निर्धारित तिथि 27 मार्च को अपना वार्षिक परीक्षा परिणाम घोषित कर रहा है । यह इस प्रकार से है :-
कक्षा 1 और 2 के सभी विद्यार्थी
वर्ष में आयोजित किये गए 8 चक्रीय परीक्षा -सतत एवं व्यापक मूल्यांकन परीक्षा , के आधार पर अगली कक्षाओं में उत्तीर्ण हो गए हैं ।
कक्षा 3 से 5 तक के सभी विद्यार्थी वर्ष में 2 बार ली गयी सावधि परीक्षा , अर्धवार्षिक परीक्षा और वार्षिक परीक्षा -सभी के यथानिर्दिष्ट मिश्रित योग एवं RTE के प्रावधानों के अनुरूप अगली कक्षा में सफलतापूर्वक उत्तीर्ण हो गए हैं ।
कक्षा 6 , 7 और 8 के सभी विद्यार्थी वर्ष में 2 बार ली गयी सावधि परीक्षा , अर्धवार्षिक परीक्षा और वार्षिक परीक्षा -सभी के यथानिर्दिष्ट मिश्रित योग एवं RTE के प्रावधानों के अनुरूप अगली कक्षा में सफलतापूर्वक उत्तीर्ण हो गए हैं ।
विद्यालय पुनः शुरू होने के बाद रिपोर्ट कार्ड सब को दे दिए जाएंगे ।
अभिभावकों को फीस , प्रवेश शुल्क एवं अन्य किसी भी विषय को लेकर अभी परेशान होने की जरूरत नहीं हैं
नए शैक्षणिक सत्र की जानकारी शीघ्र ही जारी की जाएगी ।
सभी विद्यार्थी कक्षा प्रारम्भ होने तक घर में रहकर इंटरनेट के माध्यम से शिक्षा से जुड़े रहने का प्रयास करें तथा विद्यालय से प्राप्त निर्देशों का पालन करें ।
